The TGM team is celebrating after picking up two gold and two silver awards at the 2019 Redshift Design Awards on Saturday night in Wellington for work they did with Aotea Utanganui – Museum of South Taranaki, New Plymouth District Council‘s Resource Recovery team and the organisation’s own branding.

“While winning awards is great affirmation that we hold our own nationally the most exciting thing for us is seeing our clients’ stories and projects come to life,” says TGM Creative Director Andrea Leadbetter.

One of those stories that was bought to life through design was The Big Bang exhibition at Aotea Utanganui. TGM’s newest designer, Mae Zamora, was responsible for the design of the exhibition panels, newspaper, interactive game, and marketing collateral that scooped a gold award for creative services.

“This project was a lot of fun to work on as it had so many elements that all had to look cohesive yet be able to stand alone and do their job,” says Zamora.

The other winning campaign was designer Robyn Morrison’s work for New Plymouth Council’s Resource Recovery team that featured eye-catching waste and recycling bins for Brooklands Zoo.

The Redshift Design Awards is an annual showcase of excellence in the creative services, graphic design, and web design by Printing.com and Nettl designers throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.
